A Little Mug Cosy

I had some wool to use up.

My tea pot had been enjoying its newly knitted tea cosy so much that my mug was getting jealous.

So I decided to knit a little cosy for my mug.

I couldn’t find a pattern online that I wanted, so I designed one myself.  The problem was that I wanted one with a covering over the top of the mug, rather than just around the sides of the mug.

Its all in stocking stitch and this is how it turned out.  If anyone’s interested in the pattern then let me know, but I’ll warn you that it was designed with my own mug in mind!
